Walking Miracle by Art Sanborn
Art became paralyzed from the neck down after a surfing accident in which he partially severed his spinal cord and broke his neck. Through the miracle of God’s healing power, Art is now walking and talking, even though much of his body still has limited feeling. Art and his wife, Ellen, served as missionaries in Asia before his accident, and still continue to travel on short-term mission trips.
There are 14 books in this International Adventures series. We currently have these books in our library: Peace Child by Don Richardson, Imprisoned in Iran by Dan Baumann, Living on the Devil’s Doorstep by Floyd McClung, and Against all Odds by Jim Stier. We plan to be ordering the other books in this series to add to our library collection about missionaries/Christian saints.
Summer Reading Program
The Chiang Rai International Christian School Summer Reading Program encourages reading by providing incentive for students to keep connected with exciting books throughout the summer break. Teachers at CRICS unashamedly encourage students to develop a habit of reading while they are young! Reading will provide new viewpoints and refreshing insights while keeping one’s mind sharp.
Summer Library Hours
Through June and July, the library will be open on Tuesdays from 9am-12pm to check in and check out books to the school community. The library will be closed in August to prepare for the school year.
