CRICS Covered Court – completed, but still receiving gifts!
Students at Chiang Rai International Christian School are children of missionaries along with Thai national children. At CRICS, these kids are able to pursue their educational goals and stay close to their family’s work. God has provided excellent resources for CRICS. In addition to the focus the school has on academic excellence, there is also a desire to give the students opportunities to be well-rounded in all areas, including sports and the arts. A covered court helps CRICS accomplish these goals! Through generous donations and fund-raisers by the students themselves, a long-awaited roof over the court was erected this past summer! We are grateful for the donations of those who helped allow for its construction in time for school, but are still looking for additional gifts to complete payment on this project.
The athletic court BEFORE construction AFTER construction!
Covering the court benefits the school and the community in so many ways:
- 1. A covered court means a covered play area for all students, this court is used every single day
- 2. A covered court creates a community event location: tournaments, celebrations, gatherings, worship, etc.
- 3. A covered court provides an additional classroom for P.E. and other interactive classes
If you would still like to be an integral part of seeing this project to fruition, please send U.S. tax deductible donations to:
