  • The value of competition inherent in sports
  • Developing and cultivating an atmosphere that student athletes grow in the character of Christ
Recreational League Teams

Recreational League (Rec League) teams are co-ed and not subject to try-outs. The goal of Rec League is to give young players a taste of the sport and the basic skills they need before deciding to play at a competitive level. Emphasis is on the FUNdementals of the sports. Teams are coached by parents and/or high school student athletes to build leadership in our students. Rec League plays other international schools and foundations in the area with the focus on learning competitive manners and character qualities of a CRICS Flyer. Each sport season lasts roughly one academic quarter. Age brackets are U9, U11, U13, U16, and U20, where players must be under the specified age on August 1st of that academic year. Unless otherwise noted, team sports in each age bracket will have one girls’ team and one boys’ team. CRICS teams play different schools and ministries and sometimes travels to Chiang Mai for competition with other international schools.
