“I led a team of student and adult volunteers to build a library for Baan Sawang, a new English Learning Centre. We helped construct the library corners as well as paint the walls of the schoolroom. My hope was for the Thai students in the community to enjoy a peaceful learning environment as well as be encouraged to read more books and develop a love for them. This project was important to me because I am very passionate about reading and I believe that many can benefit from having access to books, so I wanted other students to have the opportunity as well.” Grace, Grade 12
