“My volunteers and I drove up to Huay Chompu Church in a Lahu village to perform a health education outreach. We gave informational medical lectures followed by group discussions. We also performed a health check during which we measured the height, weight, blood pressure and oxygen levels of the villagers. We also blessed the community by donating clothes, hygiene products, and medkits. I’ve been in contact with numerous villages throughout the six years I have been living in Thailand. The commonality that most of the less wealthy villages have is lack of health care. I wanted to provide the same safety I know I have because I am well equipped and educated, to those who lack it.” Noa, Grade 12
