“My volunteers and I went to Baan Doi Roy Fun Children’s Home to give the children some Christmas gifts. We hoped to give them a Christmas party but due to the covid-19 situation in Chiang Rai, we had to cancel the party. The kids were very nice to us; they welcomed us by performing an Akha traditional dance. After the lovely dancing, we had them line up and give them the gifts. Each one of the kids received 2 gifts, the first one was a Christmas gift and the second one was a bag of snacks. My goal for this project was to see the kids happy when they received the gifts from us, and the kids were happy.”– Care, Grade 12
