My team and I worked on the soccer field at Grace Church by cleaning the area, painting the goalposts, hoeing parts of the field, and adding lights. The church’s field was in dreadful condition and I saw an opportunity for the church to attract several people through their soccer field. My goal was to provide the place with better soccer equipment, improve the place by making it cleaner, and add lights for them to be able to play at night. The reason this project was special to me was that soccer is my favorite way to connect with people and with God, therefore I would like to provide people with the same experience in a clean and enjoyable field.
